Made for Extra Power
The Schecter Banshee Mach-7 is intended for the player who isn't afraid to tune down. This 7-string solidbody has a maple/purpleheart neck-through construction with a compound-radius fingerboard. The Banshee Mach-7 is loaded with a pair of high-output Lundgren humbuckers that push out brutal tones with surprising clarity. If you're not a fan of tremolos, you'll love this guitar's Hipshot Ibby hardtail bridge. You can pull off huge bends anywhere on the neck without having to worry about pulling your other strings out of tune. If you're ready for heavy tones and incredible tuning stability, the Schecter Banshee Mach-7 is a clear choice.
Neck-through construction boosts sustain
To provide you with the best playing experience possible, Schecter designed the Banshee Mach-7 with neck-through construction. Made with alternating plies of maple and purpleheart, the neck provides you with incredible stability and a boost in sustain. You'll find that your notes sustain a little longer and that the body resonates more than usual. The neck is capped with a compound-radius fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets that are perfect for huge bends and blazing-fast licks. On either side of the neck, two swamp ash wings and an eye-catching flamed maple veneer round out the rest of the body.
Lundgren pickups bring the ruckus
Guitar fanatics know that pickup selection is crucial, especially if you're planning to tune down. You'll be happy to know that the Banshee Mach-7 is loaded with a pair of Lundgren M7 humbucking pickups. Used by artists including Meshuggah and Ghost, these pickups sit in the sweet spot between knockout power and incredible note definition. With the boosted clarity, you'll find that the M7's sound tight and vicious even in the lowest tunings. By using the 3-way pickup selector switch and push/pull master tone knob, you can activate the coil-splitting feature and utilize a spanky single-coil sound. No matter what kind of music you're playing, the Mach-7 will be able to handle it.
Get extra punch and sustain thanks to the Hipshot hardtail bridge
Every component of an electric guitar counts when it comes to tone. If that's true, then why would you choose a guitar with a cheap bridge? This Mach-7 has a Hipshot Ibby bridge that adds extra punch to your notes. Machined from a solid piece of billet brass and plated to match your guitar, this bridge far outperforms stamped metal bridges. Machining a bridge allows the brass to resonate with more power. The Hipshot Ibby has one more trick up its sleeve. It has an ambidextrous design that allows you to turn your right-handed guitar into a lefty for a Hendrix-style shredding experience. Whether you play righty or lefty, your Banshee Mach-7 will fit your playing preference.
